May. 16th, 2014 05:17 pm[Apollo had never been quite so nervous. And that was saying something, considering that when he first became an attorney, he was constantly fidgety at the start of every trial, sweaty palms and all.
But this was his first date. Well, first real date. He had tried a couple of "dates" back in his teen years, but he had usually either been stood up or they ended tremendously awful. It never bothered him much though considering that he focused more on his dreams of becoming an attorney and spent more of his time studying than chasing girls.
He was a real attorney now though, so it was high time that he finally put a little bit of focus on his actual love life. And somehow he found a girl that could make his heart pound loudly in his chest and put a smile immediately on his face with just her presence.
And that girl was Anna.
Anna came out of nowhere--literally. She was just a girl he met on the street, but they had immediately developed this undeniable chemistry that between his awkwardness and her quirkiness, they just seemed to click.
Somehow though, between multitudes of inappropriate text messages and spontaneous hickey making, they subtly admitted to their developing feelings for each other. Except Apollo had decided that his first kiss with her would be one that would take her breath away. So he still hadn't.
And that led him to the here and now. They had agreed to meet up today, where Apollo had hoped to surprise her with an extremely romantic dinner at a nice restaurant he had spent hours trying to locate (it had to be perfect).
So there he waited at the bus stop, waiting for her to arrive, nervous about how their relationship might progress after today's date.]
